Our Commitment to Diversity

Diverse Hires Don't Just Happen.

Nowhere is the science of executive search more important than in the ability to systematically and strategically reach deep into communities of color to find interested, qualified candidates for that next leadership challenge. Diversity hires don't just happen, they rely upon aggressive networking, strategic sourcing, and the favor curried by relationships built over years of trustworthy experiences.

We make every effort to present diverse pools of qualified candidates for each search. Above and beyond that, we work with our clients to recommend successful transition strategies for diverse hires, as with any of their hires, to ensure that their investment yields the success they seek.

Over the course of the past seven years, we have developed a track record of which we are particularly proud, but on which we will not rest.

Overall, 58% of our placements have been women.

An industry-leading 29% of our placements have been people of color; overall 18% have been African American.

Of those nearly 100 completed searches, 66% were filled with women or diverse candidates, while 20% were filled with diverse women.

Is Your Nonprofit Old Economy or New Economy?
Learn Some Lessons from Our Team
about Doing Business Smarter, Faster, and Cheaper

NPAG has been helping its clients think through the management of remote employees, offices, and board members informally for years, but in recognition of the increasing demand for more formal help NPAG has recently launched a new offering to assist organizations in their development of tools and best practices for managing their remote teams. Our team members are available to assess your organization's readiness to utilize various virtual best practices and will then create a custom program designed to meet your organization's needs and challenges. Our programs not only include materials that can help managers and their teams to think through various challenges and best practices, but also include facilitated discussions around common issues like effective virtual communications, team building across physical and electronic barriers, standards for professional remote work environments, creating efficient and effective organizational culture in digital workspace.

Does Your Nonprofit Want to Explore
the Use of Virtual Tools to Manage
Remote Teams More Effectively?
Tune in to Our Next NPAG-U Webinar on October 14 to Learn More!

Many nonprofits are learning that they can cut their overhead, retain talented staff, and become more productive by establishing remote or flexible work arrangements with some or all of their employees. As a firm that has successfully done this for seven years, we've learned a thing or two about best practices in this new economy model of working.

Tune in to hear Katherine Jacobs, PhD, Managing Partner, and Erin DeCurtis, MBA, Vice President of Strategy, on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 12 noon (EST) discuss some of what we've learned and how you might build in these best virtual environment practices into your organization.
