What Do People Say About Career Services?

“I highly recommend Heather to anyone who finds themselves “in the market”, or who is assessing how to make their next professional or career steps. When working with Heather during my own career transition, I found her to be knowledgeable, easy to work with, and just the right mix of coach, cheerleader and accountability partner. Her advice was sound and practical in ways that were tailored to my specific needs and that took into account both by my strengths and areas of opportunity for growth. Heather knows her business, is an excellent sounding board and quite adept at getting one to do what needs to be done – even if they would rather not. I credit our work together as a complete success for me because my “transition” time was much shorter than conventional wisdom would have suggested given the times we are in.”—Nonprofit HR Director

“Working with Heather was a game-changer. She provided useful tools and advice to update my resume and professional networking pages, and she coached me in preparation for interviews. She also went above and beyond by making valuable connections for me as I considered a career transition. I wish had contacted her years ago and I look forward to working with her well into the future.” –Public Health program manager

“Heather is an extremely dedicated and savvy career coach, providing the highest level of service through her careful guidance, willingness to open doors of opportunity, industry insights, and kind encouragement.  “Heather has provided me with critical assistance during several career transitions over the years. She has consistently provided me with information and skill development that made the difference in my job search. Just as important, she has given me perspective and encouragement that has been essential in getting me through the emotional difficulties of a long search for the right job. She is truly an exceptional talent.”—Human Services Nonprofit Executive Director

“Heather brings a wealth of experience to her career counseling. She quickly and adeptly revised my resume to better reflect my background, but more importantly she listened to what I was saying and crafted a summary statement that truly stated the job I was looking for. She was professional, thoughtful, and generous in our conversation and ensuing correspondence. I highly recommend her to those seeking assistance with updating their resume, clarifying the direction they should take in their career, and help with LinkedIn.” – Education Nonprofit Program Manager
