Hallie comes to NPAG with nearly a decade of talent acquisition experience. With a diverse professional background ranging from education nonprofits to high social impact start-ups, Hallie is thrilled to bring her recruitment expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to her work as a Senior Associate.
Hallie learned the fundamentals of talent acquisition as a Recruitment Manager at KIPP New Orleans Schools, bringing key insight to the role from her time as a 5th grade teacher and Teach For America corps member. She later returned to education as Operations Manager for Relay Graduate School of Education’s New Orleans campus, as well as an independent consultant for the Orleans Parish School Board.
The skills Hallie honed at KIPP were integral to her success as Director of Talent and HR at Dinner Lab, where Hallie combined her human capital expertise and longstanding culinary streak. Operating as a one-woman HR Department for much of that time, Hallie embraced the fast pace of a start-up as she led the company’s 350% growth in personnel while building its entire HR program: employee handbook, performance reviews, promotion ladders, benefits, and more. From hiring hundreds of part-time contractors to managing periods of staff contraction, Hallie’s skillset evolved with the company.
Prior to joining NPAG Hallie was Vice President of People at Ready Responders, a medical technology start-up, where she led all HR functions including talent development, recruitment, culture, benefits, and compensation. From her diverse experience in several industries and roles, Hallie understands and appreciates the importance of effective leadership at all levels of an organization.
Hallie holds a BA in Philosophy from Colgate University and is a recreational chef, outdoors enthusiast, and loyal Cleveland sports fan.
